The first two books in the Sam (Samantha) Monroe Mystery series, Deadlines Are Murder, takes place at a university in Boston, and Weddings Are Murder, takes place at a Valentine’s Weekend wedding in Vermont are complete and listed below. Both books involve Sam’s estranged husband, Rick (Frederick) Sampson, her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Detective Pete O’Malley, along with her large, extended family, various friends and a few friendly and not so friendly enemies.
WEDDINGS ARE MURDER, the second in the series, was released in December 2016 and follows Sam’s expoloits as she attempts to keep her Boston life away from her brother’s ‘perfect wedding’ in a small Vermont town.
